Movement, Screen Time, and Sleep Guidelines for Children Aged 5-17 years

The Australian Government Department of Health has released guidelines that integrate advice on recommended levels of physical activity, sedentary behaviour, and sleep for children and young people. 


The Australian 24-Hour Movement Guidelines for Children and Young People (aged 5 to 17 years)




The guidelines (2019) are important for establishing routines for children and young people that will benefit their health and well-being.
